LeBron James won his 66th Player of the Week honor, adding to his league record in a week filled with record-breaking feats. Though it is his first this season, this is his eighth time with the Lakers to win the trophy.
The trophy was last won by LeBron in January of 2023.
Perhaps the most exciting week in LeBron’s Lakers career was this one. He began it with a 21-point comeback against the Clippers in the fourth quarter, scoring 19 of his 34 points during that decisive frame. He scored 31 points in the team’s overtime victory over the Wizards the following night.
