BREAKING The Green Bay Packers Miss Out On Key Free Agent.
The Green Bay Packers have had an uncharacteristically active 2024 free agency. With the early signings of Xavier McKinney and Josh Jacobs, as well as the re-signings of AJ Dillon and Keisean Nixon.
Despite the early activity, the Green Bay Packers have been more dormant towards the later stages of free agency. With multiple positions needing addressing for depth like safety and cornerback, none stick out quite as much as linebacker.
The Green Bay Packers have first-round pick in 2022 still on the roster in Quay Walker, who has continued to portray the characteristics and abilities of a starting linebacker but has struggled to bring together through a full season.
The rest of the roster is far more unproven and has less of a pedigree, so there’s plenty of room to bring in a quality-tested lb to fill the gaps. Unfortunately for the Green Bay Packers, the last of those are being signed by the day.
