The Green Bay Packers have hired Aaron Hill as strength & conditioning coordinator, Derrick Ansley as passing game coordinator (defense), Anthony Campanile (camp-uh-nell-ee) as linebackers/running game coordinator, Sean Duggan (DUG-an) as a defensive assistant, Eddie Gordon as assistant offensive line coach, Marcus Jones as a strength & conditioning assistant, Sean Mannion as an offensive assistant, Vince Oghobaase (oh-guh-BAH-see) as assistant defensive line coach, Anthony Perkins as a defensive quality control coach, Ben Schumacher as a strength & conditioning assistant and Myles White as a coaching assistant (minority fellowship). Green Bay has also promoted Ryan Mahaffey (muh-HAFF-ee) to wide receivers coach and transitioned Jason Rebrovich to defensive line coach. Head Coach Matt LaFleur made the announcements on Tuesday.
Hill joins Green Bay after spending the last five seasons working for the San Francisco 49ers as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. Prior to his time in San Francisco, he worked under the same title at Vanderbilt University for four years (2015-18), assisting with all aspects of the university’s football program during the season and offseason training. In 2015, Hill had an offseason internship in the Carolina Panthers’ strength & conditioning department. His coaching career began at as a strength and conditioning intern in 2014-15 at the University of Minnesota, where he played linebacker from 2009-13. The former walk-on was a two-time recipient of Minnesota’s Butch Nash Award for competitiveness on and off the field. Hill graduated from Minnesota in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology sport and exercise science and later earned his master’s degree from the school in applied kinesiology-sport and exercise science the following year.
