Jaire Alexander was asked to resign as a player due to…
Alexander, outside linebacker Rashan Gary and defensive lineman Kenny Clark can all collect $700,000 workout bonuses by attending the voluntary portion of the program. All three were in attendance Monday.
Running back Josh Jacobs was also in Green Bay for the start of the program. He can collect $600,000.
Last year, Alexander stayed in Green Bay for much of the offseason but did not attend the workout program. He was available for the mandatory minicamp.
In 2023, Alexander was suspended one game in Week 17 for conduct detrimental to the team. He returned in Week 18 and later intercepted a pass during the Packers’ upset win over the Dallas Cowboys in the wildcard round.
Jaire Alexander skipped the majority of the Green Bay Packers’ offseason workout program and missed out on collecting a $700,000 bonus last year, but the Pro Bowl cornerback was in attendance for the first day of the offseason program on Monday.
Alexander was photographed on multiple occasions by team photographer Evan Siegle of Packers.com. In one, Alexander is walking alongside new safety Xavier McKinney. In another, he is pointed at the camera. In still another, Alexander is on the field participating with the cornerback group. The full photo gallery can be viewed here.
The Packers are transitioning to a new defensive scheme under coordinator Jeff Hafley. Alexander, a Pro Bowler in 2020 and 2022, will be a centerpiece of the coverage scheme.
